The year 2007 will be an exciting one for the SOREDEX family. SOREDEX celebrates its 30th anniversary. Even though the company is thirty years old we are still as active and innovative as we were in the early days. You can still find the same deep passion, inspiration and enthusiasm that have driven us to take bold risks and produce some of the world's most creative dental imaging systems. |
In 1976, a group of young, innovative people with some interesting ideas left their current jobs to set up their own company. Mr. Timo Nieminen was the innovator and founder of the new, as-yet unnamed company. In 1977, the new company was officially founded and named SOREDEX Oy. In the very same year, the CRANEX dental panoramic X-ray product family was born. Since those days, SOREDEX has become one of the world's leading dental companies and has introduced revolutionary new imaging philosophies and technologies on to the dental market. The DC generator, cross-sectional imaging, spiral movement, Imaging Plate systems, friendly easy-to-access support personnel, and smart and efficient patient handling are just a few revolutionary SOREDEX innovations.
Today, SOREDEX is a part of the PaloDEx Group, one of youngest companies in the dental industry. However, among our personnel there are still people who joined SOREDEX on “day one”, in 1977. These people and many more of us who joined the company later have found and embraced the soul and spirit of SOREDEX, the thing that makes the company what it is today – people’s company. Also SOREDEX's research and development spirit has remained the same all these years – a genuine passion to make the best products and provide our customers with a superior service.
I am thrilled to announce that the global launch of the first SOREDEX anniversary product will be at the IDS meeting in Cologne in March. We will not reveal any details at the moment but, as always, you can count on SOREDEX to deliver an inspirational innovation, and a true value for money solution. Something this good is really worth of waiting for!
We will continue to celebrate our 30th anniversary at major international dental events. As well the IDS, you also will find us in Sao Paolo, the Chicago Mid-Winter meeting, FDI, ADA and many other events.
