Control Station software
SorCom acquisition software provides a simple “DICOM bridge” to connect SOREDEX digital imaging systems into a DICOM/PACS environment. Images are acquired from a SOREDEX digital imaging system and combined with patient information from the Modality Worklist. The resulting patient study can then be sent to a DICOM archive for storage or other DICOM conformant software.
SorCom contains basic image handling tools like rotation, cropping, mirroring, brightness and contrast adjustment; images may be reviewed on a radiology workstation using 3rd party DICOM software.
The key features of SORCOM:
- Retrieve patient information from the Modality Worklist
- Acquire images from a SOREDEX digital unit
- Send images and patient information to a DICOM storage archive
SorCom supports the following DICOM service classes:
- Basic Worklist Management SCU
- Storage SCU
- Verification SCU
